--------------------------------------------------------------------------------"Wilkes debut album alternates exquisite solo acoustic guitar in the tradition of John McLaughlin, Larry Coryell and Philip Catherine with brilliant arrangements for small groups... By itself, Wilkes' acoustic guitar is a sensuous delight... Highly recommended."
"This is a beautifully conceived and executed album that ranges from classical guitar solos by Wilkes to ambitious arrangements with strings and saxes... Best cut: All."
"Guitarist Ray Wilkes has two faces to his music; one quasi-classical, romantically rhapsodic solo side, the other a rockish ensemble side which resembles... bits of Soft Machine's compositional juxtapositions."
